Job summary

Kanry Search in Malaysia is seeking a Production Tech (Supervisor) to oversee daily production activities in a sheet metal fabrication environment and lead the production team.

You will supervise, plan tasks, monitor progress, ensure quality, read basic mechanical drawings, and drive safety and continuous improvement. Location: Ulu Tiram, Johor.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or production.
• Able to read and understand basic mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, machinery, or sheet metal manufacturing is an advantage.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage daily production tasks.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the production team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Plan and assign daily tasks based on production requirements and priorities.

• Ensure products are assembled and produced to quality standards.

Ensure products are assembled and produced correctly according to required quality standards.

Read and understand basic mechanical engineering drawings for production work.
