Job summary

PWM (Pet World International Sdn Bhd) – Petaling is seeking a production supervisor to lead the production team, operate and maintain machinery, and ensure schedules are met safely while maintaining compliance with written procedures.

You will implement quality controls, coordinate raw material deliveries and pre-weighing, and supervise staff to optimize production flow and meet targets on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
• Excellent coaching and communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to track expenses and prepare budget reports.
• Solid understanding of the production planning process and GMP/HACCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery as directed.
• Lead production staff and manage roster to meet schedules.
• Ensure equipment and tools are safe and well-maintained.
• Apply quality tools to prevent nonconformities in product/process.
• Ensure staff follow written procedures, 5S, GMP and HACCP.

PWM (Pet World International Sdn Bhd) – Petaling

This is a production supervisory role in a manufacturing environment. You will operate and maintain machinery, work under the guidance of the Production Manager, and lead production staff to meet schedules efficiently. You will ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition, implement quality control measures, and coordinate resources to achieve production goals while maintaining compliance with written procedures, 5S, GMP, and HACCP plans.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery
• Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to perform and complete assigned duties in a timely manner
• Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in good and safe working condition
• Implement action to prevent nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system through appropriate quality tools
• Ensure all staff adhere to written procedures and recipes while operating within the principles of 5S, GMP and adhering to HACCP plans
• Arrange and fine tune timing of all production liquid raw material deliveries and arrange pre-weighing of dry raw materials
• Co-ordinate allocated resources to ensure production schedules are achieved efficiently
• Lead the production staff roster to meet production schedules while balancing business priorities
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior

• Possess past supervisory experience
