Job summary

White Houze Food in Penang is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily production, packing and line activities on the factory floor.

You will ensure targets, quality, food safety and SOP compliance, coordinate manpower and machine usage, and drive continuous improvements with close collaboration with warehouse and purchasing teams.

This role requires 2–4 years in food manufacturing, strong leadership, fast learning and the discipline to maintain GMP and halal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in food manufacturing, FMCG or production environment.
• Hands-on leadership on the production floor.
• Able to troubleshoot operational issues quickly.
• Familiar with basic production reporting and stock control.
• Able to work independently and ensure GMP/ Halal compliance.

• Supervise daily production and packing activities
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved

• Ensure proper machine usage and operational efficiency

Team Supervision & Training

• Lead and monitor production workers on the production floor
• Train new workers on SOP, hygiene and workflow
• Ensure staff discipline, attendance and productivity
• Solve daily operational issues quickly and effectively

Production & Inventory Control

• Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
• Ensure proper stock handling and FIFO practice
• Report production output, shortages and operational issues
• Coordinate closely with warehouse and purchasing team
• Follow and improve production SOPs
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards
• Assist management in improving production systems and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with Halal/GMP and company standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or production environment
• Hands-on leadership attitude and willing to work on production floor
• Fast learner with strong execution ability
• Good discipline, responsible and result-oriented
• Able to handle production teams
• Experience in food production or packing environment is an advantage
• Familiar with basic production reporting and stock control
• Able to work independently and solve operational issues quickly
