Job summary

Wah Kong Corporation (WKC) in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist the Production Manager, ensuring timely completion of duties and smooth daily operations on the line. You will oversee equipment maintenance, implement quality controls, coordinate material deliveries, and help lead the production staff rosters while upholding 5S, GMP, HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to perform and complete the duties in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in good and safe working condition
• Implement action to prevent nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system using quality tools
• Ensure plant operates per procedures and recipes following 5S, GMP and HACCP plans, ensuring product quality.
• Coordinate timing of production liquid raw material deliveries and pre-weigh dry materials to meet the production plan with Demand Team
• Coordinate allocated resources to meet production schedules efficiently
• Lead production staff roster to meet schedules while balancing priorities and resources
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in good and safe working condition
• Implement action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process, and quality system through appropriate quality tools
• Ensure all staff adhere to, and that the plant is operated following written procedures and recipes while operating within the principles of 5S, GMP and adhering to HACCP plans, so as to ensure the quality of the product.
• Arrange and fine tune timing of all production liquid raw material deliveries and arrange pre-weighing of dry raw materials to ensure requirements of the production plan, developed in conjunction with the Demand Team are met.
• Co-ordinate the allocated resources to ensure the production schedules are achieved in the most efficient manner
• Lead the production staff roster as required, to meet the production schedules, while balancing the other priorities of the business, ensuring the most efficient use of resources.
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor
• Perform any ad-hoc task assigned by superior
