We are a multinational manufacturing company based in Shah Alam, seeking an experienced Supervisor with effective supervisory skills in managing daily operations in a 24-hour food safety manufacturing environment.
Current openings are available in our Extrusion departments.
Responsibilities include resource planning and allocation, as well as ensuring timely outputs, employee discipline, training, performance management, reporting, ISO related requirements, etc.
To plan and lead Extrusion Operator in achieving the objectives which is aligned with the Company Goals through effective communication modes and fostering team dynamics. To set a model example for operators to follow and to train the employees in his /her process the right methods & quality inspection requirements such that the production schedule is adhered to in a timely manner.
To lead in periodic reviews on overall production performance (KPIs) with staff & conduct daily audits in production process area to ensure all process are performing according to specifications and customer’s requirements.
To ensure timely processing of raw materials, WIP and Finished Goods and delivery of the customer’s products are within the customer’s specified specification and meeting the Company’s Quality & cost requirements. To also ensure that the Scrap % is with the set standards for that process.
To ensure that processes & equipment within Production operations are operating within the specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in safe & good working order.
To ensure the necessary corrective and preventive actions are taken whenever nonconformity arises from deficiencies within the requirements of the products, processes and/or quality. Including proper follow up on all corrective & preventive actions are effective in resolving the root cause.
To manage the production process & implement continual improvement activities to ensure enable the production crew to function in an effective manner.
To ensure that all documents & reports pertaining to the Production operations are correct & produced in a timely & accurate manner or as and when requested by the Top Management.
To ensure all production employees are competent through training, development and coaching activities in order to ensure their safety & delivery performance are maintained at the highest standards.
To occasionally perform any other related tasks as the Top Management may deem suitable.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Polymer, or related discipline).
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as a Production/Manufacturing Supervisor.
Strong background in manufacturing operations or related work.
Familiarity with company policies, practices, and procedures, with the ability to operate within set parameters.
Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective people management skills, with the ability to evaluate, coach, and motivate employees.
