Job summary

Sinergia Talents Sdn Bhd is looking for a manufacturing supervisor to lead daily production on site in Penang. You will monitor shift attendance, allocate manpower, coach staff, and drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals.

You will foster teamwork and continuous development, balance resources across lines, monitor materials and line performance, and ensure compliance with 5S, safety, and quality procedures while supporting Kaizen and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily shift attendance and ensure adequate manpower allocation to support production requirements.
• Lead, coach, and supervise production personnel to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication, employee engagement, and continuous development.
• Monitor production output and line performance on every shift to ensure production targets are met and monitor incoming material quality and manufacturing quality issues, and coordinate timely corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Conduct routine shop floor patrols to ensure compliance with 5S, safety, housekeeping, and company policies and monitor employee discipline, attendance, and welfare, and address workplace issues promptly.
• Balance manpower allocation across production lines to optimize operational efficiency and support continuous improvement (Kaizen), productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures and perform any other duties or projects assigned by the Production Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic injection molding or high-volume manufacturing will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP/MES systems is an added advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Demonstrates good attendance, integrity, discipline, and a positive working attitude.
