They are seeking a high-energy, data-driven Production Supervisor to lead shop-floor operations, drive process excellence, and foster a team-first environment.

As the Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily shift operations. In this role, you will act as the operational owner for your assigned manufacturing cell, guiding front-line technicians and operators, maintaining rigid quality and safety standards, and using real-time data to optimize workflow performance.

• Shift & People Leadership: Direct, coach, and support shift personnel to hit daily target outputs. Hold consistent one-on-ones and team catch-ups to align goals, gather feedback, and cultivate talent.
• Cell Accountability: Oversee operational health for your department, keeping a tight focus on safety records, scrap levels, defect counts (PPM), and target delivery dates.
• Safety & EHS Standards: Enforce a zero-compromise safety environment by auditing correct PPE usage, strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) adherence, and complete EHS rule compliance.
• Quality Assurance & Containment: Verify that finished goods precisely match technical drawings and customer specifications. Partner with Quality and Maintenance teams to immediately quarantine non-conforming parts and execute root-cause corrective actions.
• Planning & Resource Allocation: Work alongside production control to balance manpower and equipment usage, manage urgent customer expedites, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Active Floor Presence: Perform frequent floor walks to proactively identify operational friction, support setups/tooling troubleshooting, and keep lines running efficiently.
• Cost Control & Lean Execution: Drive productivity to keep cost centers on budget. Manage shift overtime, reduce material waste, and champion 5S and continuous improvement projects across the cell.

• Data-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to analyze production metrics, track floor trends, and make objective, data-backed decisions.
• Manufacturing Experience: Background supervising operations in process-driven manufacturing (electronics, precision assembly, plastics/molding, or automotive preferred).
• Lean / Six Sigma: Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles (Lean or Six Sigma certification is a strong plus).
• Technical Savvy: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and ERP/MES production software.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical discipline preferred.

• Capacity to remain standing or seated for up to 90 continuous minutes.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist level.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to mechanical noise, equipment, and regulated materials (with required personal protective equipment).
