Pivotal Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor in Kedah to oversee daily manufacturing, meet targets, and ensure quality and timely delivery. You will supervise production operators and technicians during shifts, coordinate CNC machining, surface treatment, and work closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering and Equipment teams to maintain smooth production flow.

Supervise daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
Manage and coordinate production operators and technicians during assigned shifts.
Oversee CNC machining operations, ensuring machines are operating efficiently and production output meets customer specifications.
Supervise surface treatment processes, ensuring compliance with process parameters, quality requirements, and operational standards.
Monitor production performance, machine utilization, and workforce productivity to optimize operational efficiency.
Ensure all production activities comply with established work instructions, quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate manpower allocation, shift scheduling, and workflow arrangements to maximize productivity and resource utilization.
Conduct shift briefings and communicate production priorities, safety requirements, and operational updates to team members.
Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Equipment teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely issue resolution.
Monitor tooling, consumables, chemicals, and production materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Investigate and resolve production issues, process deviations, equipment downtime, and quality concerns.
Review production reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, yield, cost efficiency, and workplace safety.
Train, coach, and develop operators and technicians to improve technical competency, productivity, and overall performance.
Ensure proper housekeeping, 5S practices, and environmental, health, and safety requirements are maintained within the production area.
Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and operational documentation.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in CNC machining operations and/or surface treatment processes is preferred.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production control, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage manpower, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
Familiarity with production KPIs, continuous improvement methodologies, and lean manufacturing practices will be an added advantage.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage to communicate with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems.
Willing to work on rotational shifts and overtime when required.
