Job summary

Eastek International (Malaysia) - Alor Setar, Kedah seeks a production planning and control specialist to manage daily operations on the line. Your focus will be capacity planning, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to monthly targets.

You will supervise production staff, monitor performance, maintain quality standards, and drive cost control measures including absenteeism and scrap rate. This role requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine capacity for production line based on monthly schedule.
• Day-to-day planning for production line.
• Follow up on production performance to meet daily, weekly and monthly plans.
• Maintain discipline of production staff.
• Control absenteeism to be below 5%.
• Ensure that product quality meets the requirements.
• Ensure workers follow all procedures.
• Control scrap cost to be below 0.5% of material shipped for the month.
