About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production operations, ensuring that our power semiconductor products meet the highest quality and safety standards. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, monitoring production processes, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. This position is essential to our continued success and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with established standard operating procedures
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment malfunctions or anomalies immediately
• Ensure all products meet quality specifications and conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process
• Prepare raw materials and components for production runs as directed
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including batch numbers, production times, and material usage
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work area at all times
• Follow environmental, health and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues
• Report defects and quality concerns to supervisory personnel promptly
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute suggestions for operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a similar manufacturing or machine operation role
• Demonstrated ability to operate industrial machinery and equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
• Good communication skills and the ability to document work accuratelyPhysical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
• Basic mathematical skills for measuring and recording production data
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a strong commitment to workplace safety practices
• Preferred experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry
• Willing to work at West Malaysia - Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru
