You will analyze production data, collaborate with procurement and QA, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve production issues.
• Experience with production management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management or Production Planning.

Rubber Leisure Products Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer of high-quality rubber and plastic products, is seeking a talented Production Officer/Executive to join our dynamic team in Melaka. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the efficient and effective production operations within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers

Monitoring and optimising production processes to maximise efficiency, productivity, and quality

Analysing production data and identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall operational performance

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and quality assurance, to address production-related challenges

Providing training and mentoring to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and streamline production workflows

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar production or manufacturing role, preferably in the rubber or plastics industry

Excellent understanding of production planning and scheduling principles, as well as inventory management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues

Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and production staff

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Operations Management or Production Planning
