Job summary

AURIGHTEC MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Production Planner to manage detailed schedules and coordinate material flow at the Kulim, Kedah facility. The role ensures timely, cost-effective manufacturing operations and supports customer delivery performance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, cross-functional coordination, inventory control, and ERP/MES optimization. Requires 5+ years in EMS production planning, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production planning or material control experience in the EMS industry.
• Strong proficiency in ERP and MES systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production planning tools.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer requirements, material availability, and production capacity.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure timely material supply and resource planning.
• Monitor and track material readiness and production progress; update relevant departments accordingly.
• Ensure high inventory turnover and minimize excess or obsolete stock (E&O).
• Prepare E&O reports and assist Project Managers in managing claims.
• Monitor and manage aging or expired inventory.
• Support continuous improvement by optimizing ERP and MES system processes related to production planning.
• Track and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) in production schedules.
• Ensure alignment with customer expectations and internal KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and On-Time Rate (OTR).

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Planner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of materials, production activities, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting our production performance and meeting customer delivery expectations at our Kulim, Kedah facility.

Key Responsibilities

Position Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production planning tools.

Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

High level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and numerical accuracy.

Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and cross-functional communication skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
