Job summary

VERDASTRO SDN BHD is seeking a proactive production supervisor to keep manufacturing running efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while upholding quality and safety standards. You will guide junior staff and coordinate resources on the shop floor.

The role requires strong organizational and people-management skills, the ability to plan production schedules, monitor performance, and ensure regulatory compliance across daily operations in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize production schedules
• Assess project and resource requirements, including cost analysis and risk analysis, and deliver timely reports to management
• Estimate, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timescales with the management team
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are met on the production floor
• Determine and maintain quality control standards
• Oversee day-to-day production processes
• Re-negotiate timescales or schedules as necessary
• Select and order maintenance items and other supplies related to production
• Organize repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
