Job summary

Wistron Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planning professional to follow up customer orders and align production schedules with PCBA/FA plans. You will review daily production, manage shortages with buyers, and ensure MO closure while coordinating with PR flows.

Weekly capacity planning and MRP checks form part of the role, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu and other language.

Responsibilities

• Follow up customer new orders and production line actual production; summarize PCBA/FA schedule.
• Daily review with production line head on previous day production situation; discuss that day or next day schedule and future plan.
• Daily confirm critical shortages; highlight to buyer to pull in and satisfy production shipment.
• Daily confirm open MO and ensure production line storage on time to close MO.
• Daily ensure schedule and process of PR.
• Report to manager on work situation.
• Attend PC internal meetings; ensure each model latest process and provide suitable suggestions.
• Weekly plan production capacity according to customer latest FCST.
• Weekly check abnormal storage and excess; resolve on time.
• Weekly check MRP results.
• Propose improvement activity: collect improvement suggestions and create improvement proposals.
• Other related improvement activities.
• Maintain effective cross-functional communication to ensure all production-related issues are resolved.

Job description

Job Requirements:-

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu and other language.

At least 5 years of experience in production planning, production control, supply chain management, warehouse operations or related field is an advantage. Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control and supply chain operations. added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, coordination and leadership skills.

Able to work effectively under pressure and in a cross-functional environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). SAP knowledge is an added advantage.

Willing to work in Port Klang, Selangor.
