Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd is seeking a senior production manager to take full responsibility for daily operations in our glove manufacturing facility. You will lead the production team, optimize capacity, and drive continuous improvements to reduce waste while maintaining high quality according to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Manufacturing and has 7–10 years in senior management, including managing a plant with 300+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce company policies, objectives, and operational requirements within the factory.
• Plan and monitor production manpower, supervise staff, and maintain discipline and working attitudes to ensure consistent quality.
• Take full responsibility for the overall daily operations of the production department.
• Lead the production team in driving continuous improvements in capacity and reducing waste.
• Optimize resources to achieve high-quality production at optimum cost.
• Review and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor process parameters, equipment performance, and staff records, and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Plan production meetings, activities, schedules, budgets, and quality targets.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures are properly implemented and maintained.
• Motivate and lead staff to achieve safety, business objectives, and performance targets.

Job description

Implement and enforce company policies, objectives, and operational requirements within the factory.

Plan and monitor production manpower requirements, supervise production staff, and maintain good discipline and working attitudes to ensure consistency in work quality.

Take full responsibility for the overall daily operations of the production department.

Lead the production team in driving continuous improvements in production capacity and reducing production wastage.

Optimize manufacturing resources to achieve high-quality production at optimum cost.

Continuously review and improve manufacturing processes and production operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Monitor process parameters, equipment performance, and factory staff performance records, and implement appropriate preventive measures when required.

Ensure all products comply with customers' specifications and quality requirements.

Plan and coordinate production meetings, production activities, worker schedules, machine maintenance schedules, budgets, and product quality requirements.

Ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures and requirements are properly implemented and maintained.

Motivate and lead staff under supervision to ensure workplace safety, business objectives, and team performance targets are achieved.

Undertake additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Exercise authority in accordance with the applicable work process procedures and work instructions.

Other Responsibilities

Authority and responsibilities shall be exercised in accordance with the relevant company policies and procedures (TBA).

Education & Qualifications

Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification from a reputable university.

Results-oriented with strong follow-up, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Pleasant personality with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels.

Minimum 7 to 10 years of working experience in a senior managerial position, preferably within the glove manufacturing industry or related sectors such as plastic, chemical, or vinyl manufacturing.

Strong management background with proven experience in production and operations management, including experience managing a manufacturing plant with a minimum of 300 employees.

Strong leadership capabilities, sound judgment, and a high level of maturity.
