Superlon Worldwide in Malaysia seeks a senior factory leader to drive the new plant operation, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing while meeting production, quality and delivery targets.
You will lead across production, quality, maintenance, warehouse and compliance, mentor department heads and factory teams, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven decisions to strengthen performance and accountability. Experience in rubber or plastics is preferred.
Lead the new factory operation to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing while meeting production, quality and delivery requirements. The role provides leadership across production, quality, maintenance, warehouse and compliance functions and drives continuous improvement across the factory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and supervise overall factory operations, including production, quality, maintenance, warehouse and workplace safety.
Lead, develop and motivate department heads, supervisors and factory teams to strengthen performance, accountability and employee development.
Oversee production planning, scheduling, manpower deployment and daily execution to achieve output, quality and delivery targets.
Work closely with QA/QC to ensure product quality and compliance with applicable ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RoHS, EPR and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, optimize resource utilization, reduce operating costs and minimize machine downtime.
Review operational issues, approve corrective actions and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
Plan manpower, resources and plant setup, and coordinate inter-department workflows to support smooth factory operations.
Ensure emergency response readiness and enforce workplace safety requirements in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
Analyze operational performance, KPIs and costs and provide data-driven recommendations to Management.
Support capacity expansion, plant reorganization and other operational requirements assigned by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Production, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience, with substantial experience in a factory leadership or managerial capacity.
Strong leadership, people-management, problem-solving and cost-management capabilities.
Good understanding of occupational safety and health compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
Results-oriented and able to manage competing priorities and tight operational deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Experience in rubber, plastics or a similar manufacturing industry is preferred.
