Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters is seeking a production manager in Kulai, Malaysia. The role oversees all production aspects to reach goals, monitors performance, and allocates resources for timely delivery.

You will lead a team across supervisors, technicians, and operators, driving continuous improvement with lean practices, SPC, and strict quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience in production management, cost control, and quality management.
• Experience in setting up an electromechanical manufacturing plant from scratch (0 to 1).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of production to meet goals.

Job description

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of production, ensuring that operations run efficiently andmeet production goals.
  
• Monitor production performance and output, adjusting resources and schedules as needed tomeet deadlines.
  

QualityAssurance and Compliance:

• Ensure that all production processes meet the required quality standards and regulations,including compliance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001
  
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to address quality issuesand reduce defects in product lines.
  

Team Leadership and Training:

• Lead and manage the production team, including supervisors, technicians and operators, ensuringthey are trained in proper procedures and safety protocols.
  
• Allocate tasks and resources effectively to meet production targets while maintaining qualitystandards.
  

Production Process Optimization:

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices to optimizeefficiency, reduce waste, and increase production capacity.
  
• Oversee the use of statistical process control (SPC) and other methods to monitor processefficiency and minimize downtime.
  

Health,Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure that the production meet all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, addressing any hazards or non-complianceissues in the production environment.
  

Maintenance and Equipment Management:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of machines and auxiliary equipment, ensuring minimaldowntime and maximum efficiency.
  
• Implement a preventive maintenance program to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in ElectricalEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relatedfield.
  
• 5+years of experience in manufacturing factory, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  
• Familiar with factory production operations and management, with experience in productionmanagement, cost control, and quality management.
  
• Experience in setting up an electromechanical manufacturing plant from scratch (0 to 1), with strongskills in communication and coordination.
  
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with colleagues from diversenationalities and backgrounds.
  
• Strong communication skills and systematic thinking, capable of effectively liaising with headquartersand local government authorities
