Job summary

YI JIA PASTRY HOUSE in Johor, Muar, is seeking a diligent Halal Certification Coordinator to manage Halal documentation and certification processes. You will ensure all products meet Halal standards and coordinate renewal efforts, audits, and liaise with Halal authorities.

The role requires 1–2 years in food manufacturing with Halal knowledge, strong documentation and communication skills, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing with Halal knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Halal certification systems and food safety standards.
• Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Job description

• Manage and maintain Halal documentation and certification process.
• Ensure company products and processes comply with relevant Halal certification standards.
• Coordinate and manage the Halal certification and renewal process, including applications, audits, and inspections.
• Liaise with Halal authorities and stay updated with the latest Halal standards, fatwas, and industry best practices.
• Conduct internal Halal awareness training to employees across relevant departments.
• Support quality assurance systems such as MESTI / HACCP / GMP.
• Perform a wide range of administrative duties and other related tasks, including office supplies and inventory management, documentation, filing systems, meeting arrangements and other day-to-day operational support.
• Perform other related tasks as required by management.
• Free training will be provided.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years working experience in food manufacturing (Halal knowledge preferred).
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Halal certification systems and food safety standards.
• Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
