Job summary

Applicants should hold a Diploma/Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years in Production Operations, and demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Operations/manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to plan, organize and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decisive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities in the Production Department.
• Propose improvements to work procedures as needed.
• Monitor production reports and related paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with company, production, and safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area and track day-to-day operations.
• Investigate root causes of production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Analyze operational data for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned by Management.

• Responsible in changes in workflow, operations and equipment to maximize production efficiency.


• Work with production teams to ensure cost-effective, high quality and timely delivery of products.


• Plan, monitor and supervise production daily activities related to the Production Department.


• Propose improvement to the work procedures as and when necessary.


• Responsible to coordinate and produce the necessary reports and paperwork related the production.


• Ensure company, production and safety rules & regulations are being followed.


• To ensure good housekeeping in production area.


• Keep track the production day to day operation, job allocation, workforce motivation and disciplinary matters.


• Follow up projects status as assigned and relevant documents


• Perform investigation on the root cause in the case of trouble occurred on production and take a preventive counter measure on it.


• Analyze operational data for continues improvement initiative and process cost reduction exercise.


• Any other duties as and when assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualification:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.


• Preferably minimum 3 years of working experience in the Production Operation / manufacturing processes.


• Possess leadership qualities with ability to plan, organize and motivate team members to achieve operating goals.


• Strong team player.


• Strong problem-solving skill and critical decision making.


• Able to handle multitasks and meet dateline.
