Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to analyse and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across availability, performance and quality. You will troubleshoot machinery issues and coordinate with QA/Engineering to ensure reliable operation and quality products.

Review production procedures, set up training for operators, and prepare weekly and monthly management reports. A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/automation and 1 year in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automation or related field.
• Minimum 1 year in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse OEE and improve availability, performance and quality.
• Identify losses and optimize production costs.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and breakdowns.
• Review production docs for effectiveness.
• Coordinate with QA/Engineering on quality and machine performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly management reports.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

• Identify operational losses, improve the productivity and reduce the cost of overall production operations.
• To carry out troubleshooting in machinery issue or breakdown.
• Review production documentation or procedure periodically to ensure its suitability and effectiveness.
• To coordinate with QA/Engineering dept on quality or machinery performance issue to ensure effective operation control and good quality product deliver to customer.
• Set up training program to ensure competency of production personnel.
• To prepare weekly/monthly report for management review.
• To involve in ad-hoc project/task assigned by superior.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Automation/any related engineering field.
• Minimum 1 years relevant working experience in fast paced manufacturing.
• Good knowledge in machine maintenance and troubleshooting/working schedule arrangements.
