Job summary

Ferrotec Silicon Materials (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. invites a production-support professional to join our on-site manufacturing team in Pasir Gudang.

You will help manage day-to-day operations, track progress, and ensure quality compliance. With a Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering field and MS Office skills, you will collaborate with engineering and Mandarin-speaking colleagues to drive process improvements and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or production.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering discipline is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Mandarin fluency is required for collaboration with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-site production management to ensure smooth operations.
• Support process improvements and optimization with engineering teams.
• Monitor and track product progress for timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Maintain detailed manufacturing records and documentation in line with company requirements.
• Process and track production orders, inventory, and supplies to support efficiency.
• Prepare and distribute production reports and performance metrics to departments.
• Provide administrative support to the manufacturing team, including data entry and filing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Job description

Participate in on-site production management, ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production-related environment.

Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related disciplines in science and engineering.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in Mandarin is required, as the role involves working closely with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and customers.
