FERROTEC MANUFACTURING MALAYSIA Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Business Development Manager/Senior Manager in Malaysia.

A degree in Business Studies or equivalent is required, with at least 10 years’ experience, including 5 years in account management, preferably in our industry. You will lead growth initiatives and coordinate internal/external resources to execute strategies. Travel up to 50% and strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills are essential.

• 10+ years of professional experience including 5 years in account management.
• Preferably in Mechanical or Business Management with commercial courses and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Coordinate internal and external resources to bring strategy to life.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, planning and execution in sales and contracting.

Job description

Business Development Manager/Senior Manager

Degree is Business Studies or equivalent. At least 10 years of professional experience including 5 years of account management experience, preferable in the similar industry.

Preferably in the field of Mechanical or Business Management with additional commercial courses and training.

Focused and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills , interpersonal skills and relationship building skills and capable of inspiring, motivate and achieve commitment from both our customers and employees.

Competent in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Well organized, responsive with excellent time management.

Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude a plus.

Strong ability to determine business drivers, create a strategy for driving growth, and work with internal and external resources to bring that strategy to life.

Travelling is estimated to be no more than 50%.

Proven leadership competencies by showing determination in achieving excellent results and showing determination to win.

Shows experiences in business/sales planning and execution and knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management.

Shows sound understanding of the market and external environment and the ability to translate this in clear business objectives.

Demonstrates strong analytical skills and finding ways to get the things done better, more efficiently and effectively.

Good presentation skills for both large groups as well as individual
