Job summary

Ferrotec is seeking a Production Manager for Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will lead a production team, plan daily flows, ensure quality and adherence to ISO standards, and promote strong discipline on the factory floor. Training in China for 3–6 months is part of the role.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 8 years’ related experience (5+ in management), and proficiency in English and Mandarin. Join a multinational organization with strong growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001/ISO27001, IATF16949, VDA6.3, QC080000.
• Experience implementing and proficient in manufacturing management tools like lean production.
• English and Mandarin required; Mandarin-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan a production team on daily flow, processes and manpower to meet quality and production planning.
• Maintain quality procedures and records per ISO requirements.
• Conduct in-house training for new production staff.

Willing to undergo training in China for a duration of 3 to 6 months.

What You Will Do

To lead and plan and lead a production team on daily production flow, processes and manpower, which compliance and adherence to quality and production planning.

Maintaining the quality procedures and records according to ISO requirement.

Conduct in-house training for the new work force in the production floor.

To promote a high level of morale; and to maintain a good working discipline among the work force in the factory.

Responsible for the operational safety, quality control, production throughput, inventory control, productivity, yield & spending

Responsible for managing and improve documented work processes, update industry technological developments and best practices.

Perform other functions and duties as and when assigned by company.

What We Want from You

Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Minimum of 8 years of working experience in related field with minimum 5 years at managerial level.

Knowledge of quality system, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO27001, IATF16949, VDA6.3 and QC080000.

Experience in implementing and proficient application of manufacturing management tools like lean production.

Proficiency in English & Mandarin languageis a mandatory.
