Job summary

Mizou Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to join our growing team in Sungai Buloh/Shah Alam, Malaysia.

You will plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities, and collaborate with R&D and Engineering during new product development and improvements. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing/mechatronics engineering, with fresh graduates welcome and 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred, and enjoys problem-solving,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing or mechatronics engineering is required or preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with 1–3 years is preferred.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining and assembly processes is advantageous.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar engineering software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet targets.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with R&D and Engineering during new product development and improvements.
• Prepare production schedules, work instructions and SOPs.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure all products comply with quality standards before delivery.
• Coordinate fabrication, machining, welding, assembly and testing activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor material usage and reduce production waste.
• Ensure compliance with OSH requirements and company procedures.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Prepare production reports and progress updates for management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining and assembly processes will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar engineering software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Possess own transport and willing to work in Sungai Buloh / Shah Alam.
