Job summary

Salutary Avenue Group is seeking a motivated Production Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team in Malaysia. You will plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities, providing technical support and addressing equipment issues to keep operations smooth and efficient.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Read and understand engineering drawings; CAD/SolidWorks a plus.

Salutary Avenue Group is looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production, process and equipment issues.
• Improve production processes, productivity, cycle time and overall efficiency.
• Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with SOP, safety and quality standards.
• Identify root causes of production problems and implement effective corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, QC, Purchasing and other departments.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, 5S, Kaizen and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Assist in production planning, capacity improvement and machine/equipment optimisation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to production operators and team members.
• Carry out other engineering and production-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD/SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Good public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
