Job summary

Ouji in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to organize plant start-up and shutdowns, monitor line leaders and operators, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You will prepare daily production reports, perform root cause analysis, liaise with suppliers on quotations, installation, maintenance, and ensure documentation, PMs and calibrations are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 working years in equipment management.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor line leader and operator.
• Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities.
• Prepare daily production report.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Liaise with hardware/equipment suppliers on quotation, delivery date and payment details.
• Responsible for machinery acceptance, installation, adjustment, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with OEM on machinery commissioning and technical details.
• Provide training and technical guidance to technicians.
• Ensure documentation, checklists, PM and calibration records are maintained.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

• Ensure all documentations, checklist, preventive maintenance (PM) and calibrations record are well maintained & updated.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical/ Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 working years in equipment management.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, 2D/3D software, CAD would be added advantage) .
• Able to read and interpret machine manual, mechanical drawing, and electrical scheme.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
