Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Mechanical Engineering professional to lead the production team, optimize maintenance planning and drive improvements across machinery and facilities. You will coordinate with QC to address quality issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and push for higher efficiency and robust processes on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Engineering or other related field.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with good analytical skills.
• Enthusiastic, cooperation and positive behavior.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Possess own transportation and accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preventive maintenance schedule and arrange maintenance works for the technicians to carry out per schedule.
• Co-ordinate with QC Department to handle quality issue.
• Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Improve and upgrading existing machine, equipment and facilities on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Directing the production team members and introducing efficient methods of production line.
• Ensuring that strong and efficient teamwork culture exists within the production team.
• Develop and improve of new tools and machine part.
• Prepare and compile technical specification of component and die.
• Generate process and machine work instruction.
• Maintain company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of OSHA and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Enforcing and implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in all controlled area.
• Execute others’ responsibilities and projects as assigned by superior from time to time.
