Job summary

Superlon Worldwide in Malaysia is seeking a Production Coordinator to plan manpower, supervise operators, and ensure smooth manufacturing operations for rubber insulation products. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive training to support daily production goals.

The role requires strong planning, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines. The position is based at our Klang facilities in Selangor.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Production, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily manpower deployment to support production schedules.
• Train, coach, and supervise Production Leaders and Operators on work methods and procedures.
• Supervise mould assembly, mould changes, and related operator activities.
• Supervise feeding of materials into the extruder and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Monitor and control proper use of production tooling and resources.
• Coordinate raw material requests and ensure documentation is completed on time.
• Prepare production records and stock-in reports relating to finished products and usage.
• Coordinate checks and testing on WIP and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Assist Emergency Response Team Leader in emergency preparedness and response activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manpower & Workflow Coordination

• Plan and coordinate daily manpower deployment to support production schedules and operational requirements
• Train, coach, and supervise Production Leaders and Operators on work methods, production techniques, and established procedures
• Supervise mould assembly, mould changes, and related operator activities
• Supervise the feeding of materials into the extruder and ensure production activities follow established procedures

Production & Documentation Control

• Monitor and control the proper use of production tooling and related production resources
• Supervise raw material preparation and mixing activities in accordance with established work requirements
• Coordinate raw material requests to support planned production activities
• Maintain accurate work-in-progress and production records, ensuring required documentation is completed on time
• Coordinate or perform required checks and testing on work-in-progress in accordance with production requirements
• Prepare production records and stock-in reports relating to finished products and production usage

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Maintain good housekeeping and supervise cleanliness of the production work environment
• Ensure proper segregation and disposal of production waste
• Coordinate the initial response to chemical spillages and ensure appropriate handling and escalation
• Monitor and control rejected products and production wastage, and support corrective actions where required
• Assist the Emergency Response Team Leader in emergency preparedness and response activities

Job Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Production, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field
• Relevant production or manufacturing experience is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing or production processes is preferred
• Strong planning, coordination, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet production deadlines

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Exposure to factory production operations, material handling, tooling, extrusion, or similar manufacturing processes is an advantage
