Job summary

Leoch Battery in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily output and coordinate the activities of production staff. You will monitor safety compliance, enforce quality standards, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate with engineering, maintenance and QA teams to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.

You will also train and mentor team members, prepare production reports, and ensure documentation of activities meets company policies and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily production targets.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to improve processes and resolve technical problems.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, including employee skill matric, production performance metrics, inventory levels, and equipment status.
• Ensure proper documentation of production activities, including compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical document, product specification, report and presentation.
• Work together with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality, environmental and safety standards.
