Job summary

IPS Industrial Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking Production Engineers to join our manufacturing team. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and you will support production operations, improve efficiency, and coordinate materials and processes to meet targets.

You will read mechanical drawings, plan production activities, track progress, and participate in continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates or up to 2 years experience welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and assembly drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic production documentation.
• Knowledge of BOM, production scheduling and process improvement.
• Familiarity with manufacturing tools and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve production KPI targets set by Management.
• Coordinate materials, equipment and resources required for production through BOM.
• Plan production activities, prepare work orders, and maintain drawing distribution records.
• Track material usage and monitor production progress daily.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and operational issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely product completion and delivery.
• Manage prototype production activities, including assembly and testing.
• Estimate labor hours, production costs and material requirements.
• Prepare production reports and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
