Job summary

Topaire Sales & Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage air-conditioning equipment purchasing and related products. You will support sourcing, supplier evaluation, pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with EC, SIRIM, and other regulatory certifications.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Technology with air conditioning knowledge and 1+ year of industry experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Technology with focus on Industrial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning System.
• Engineering degree with knowledge in air conditioning.
• More than 1 year of working experience in air conditioning preferred.
• PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of air-conditioning equipment and related products.
• Assist the Manager in product sourcing, supplier evaluation, and pricing strategies.
• Review product specifications, technical requirements, and supplier documents.
• Liaise with suppliers on product development, quality, pricing, and technical matters.
• Provide technical support and product information to Sales and Sales & Applications.
• Assist in evaluating new products and resolving technical or product-related issues.
• Manage Energy Commission (EC) certifications, approvals, and permits.
• Coordinate SIRIM, MyHIJAU and other relevant product certifications and requirements.
• Coordinate COA preparation and submission.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on product testing, audits, inspections, and certification.

Job description

Responsible for managing air-conditioning product procurement, technical support, product evaluation, and regulatory compliance, working closely with suppliers, internal departments, and regulatory authorities.

About you

Diploma / Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology (Industrial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning System)

Diploma / Bachelor or equivalent in Engineering with knowledge in air conditioning.

More than 1 year of working experience in air conditioning industry preferred.

PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint.

Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

High level of integrity, motivated, self-driven and willing to work under pressure and within tight deadline.

Able to adapt working environment easily.
