Job summary

Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a strategic marketing professional to drive HVAC solutions across ASEAN-Oceania. You will lead competitive intelligence, market analysis, and development of regionally relevant marketing materials for applied products such as chillers and airside solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics) with CGPA 3.0 or Second Class Upper.
• 3–5 years of working experience in HVAC; data centre projects is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and across regional teams.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Marketing

• Lead the collection and analysis of competitive intelligence, market trends, and product benchmarking for applied products, including chillers and airside solutions.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to develop and maintain engaging marketing materials such as videos, website content, and catalogues.
• Share market insights and updates with sales affiliates across ASEAN-Oceania to support growth and strategic decision-making.

Product Application & Training Support

• Conduct sales training sessions to strengthen knowledge of applied product technologies, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
• Consolidate and support compliance with regional applied product regulations.

Product Development Support

• Work with factory R&D (airside) teams to translate customer needs into CTQ (Critical to Quality) requirements for new product development.
• Collaborate with airside factories to drive innovation and product development initiatives.
• Support airside product selection and optimisation for strategic projects in ASEAN-Oceania.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or Second Class Upper.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in HVAC; experience in Data Centre projects is an added advantage.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure.
• Fast learner, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with diverse regional teams.
