Job summary

Panasonic Appliances Air Conditioning Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced engineer to monitor product performance, investigate issues, and collaborate with Design, QA and Production to drive quality improvements across the HVAC portfolio.

You will collect and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare detailed reports on test results and field feedback, and provide technical training and guidance to NSC while travelling domestically and overseas as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC systems, preferably in manufacturing or technical environments.
• Frequent domestic and overseas travel.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.

• Monitor product performance in market through NSC.
• Track customer complaints, warranty feedback, and technical support enquiries to ensure timely resolution.
• Lead investigations by identifying root causes with Design, QA and Production teams.
• Conduct overseas site investigations to gather on-site data and resolve complex market quality issues.

Track customer complaints, warranty feedback, and technical support enquiries to ensure timely resolution.

Lead investigation of reported issues by identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions in collaboration with Design, QA, and Production teams.

Conduct overseas site investigationsto gather on-site data and resolve complex market quality issues.

Data Analysis:

Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, recurring issues, and product quality improvements.

Provide feedback on product quality performance insights, to support new model development.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain detailed reports on test results, field investigations, and market feedback.

Track quality performance metrics and highlight areas for improvement.

Training and support:

Deliver product knowledge and troubleshooting training to NSC.

Provide technical advice and guidance on product troubleshooting and repair activities.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in HVAC systems, preferably within a manufacturing or technical environment.

Frequent travel domestic & Overseas

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Positive work attitude with strong initiative and independence.

Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
