COLDEST COOL SDN BHD in Melaka is seeking an experienced Senior Aircon Technician to lead and support a growing team. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience in aircon installation, maintenance, and repair (Junior: 2–3 years; Senior: 5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems including split and central units.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence and reliable transport.
• Fluent communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Diagnosing system faults and troubleshooting technical problems with precision and efficiency
• Testing and recharging refrigerants, ensuring systems meet industry standards and environmental regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance work completed
• Providing professional advice to clients regarding system upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices in all work undertaken
• For Senior Technicians: Mentoring and supervising junior team members and providing technical guidance on complex installations and repairs
• Responding promptly to emergency service calls and managing time effectively to meet client schedules

COLDEST COOL SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Aircon Technician to join our growing team in Melaka. We are also welcoming those who are in Internships/Junior Level or New entry level to join us.

Key responsibilities

As an Aircon Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

What we're looking for

Essential qualifications and experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in aircon installation, maintenance, and repair for Junior level; 5+ years for Senior level

Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including split units, central systems, and commercial refrigeration

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Valid driving licence and reliable transportation to visit client sites

Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where necessary

Desirable experience and skills:

Experience with smart HVAC systems

Knowledge of energy-efficient cooling solutions and sustainability practices

Previous experience in a supervisory or mentoring role (for Senior applicants)

Fluency in multiple languages to better serve our diverse client base
