Job summary

MZEC Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Product Development Executive to drive development and improvement of plywood, timber and wood-based product lines. You will coordinate development activities, evaluate new opportunities, and work with Sales, Marketing and Procurement to align with business objectives.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Procurement, 3–5 years in product development, and strong sourcing/market research skills with travel

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product development.
• Technical knowledge of plywood, timber, or wood-based products.
• Strong sourcing and analytical market research skills.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.

Responsibilities

• To support the development of new products and improvement of existing products in line with company's business objectives, market trends, customer requirement, and quality standards while ensuring cost effective
• Coordinate product development activities, conduct product testing, evaluations, to ensure products meet the required regulatory specifications
• Review existing products and recommend improvement in quality and cost efficiency based on customers' feedback and business needs
• Gather customer and market feedback after product launch and implement necessary improvements
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and other relevant departments to ensure smooth product development
• Monitor market trends and market research relevant to the business objective
• Assist in product costing, pricing analysis and cost optimization

We're on a look for Product Development Executive to support the Procurement Team at MZEC Corporation Sdn Bhd. This role is responsible in identifying new products and improve existing products that meets business objective.

Job Responsibilities

To support the development of new products and improvement of existing products in line with company's business objectives, market trends, customer requirement, and quality standards while ensuring cost effective

Coordinate product development activities, conduct product testing, evaluations, to ensure products meet the required regulatory specifications

Review existing products and recommend improvement in quality and cost efficiency based on customers' feedback and business needs

Gather customer and market feedback after product launch and implement necessary improvements

Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and other relevant departments to ensure smooth product development

Monitor market trends and market research relevant to the business objective

Assist in product costing, pricing analysis and cost optimization

Requirement

Minimum Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement or related field

Preferably 3 - 5 years of experience in Product Development

Technical knowledge of Plywood, Timber, or Wood based products

Experienced in evaluating alternative product & product opportunities

Strong sourcing & analytical market research skills

Willing to Travel Local and Overseas

Preferably fluent in English, Bahasa & Chinese to converse with Chinese speaking client
