Job summary

Apex Office Furniture Exporter Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Executive, R&D (Technical Design) to transform product concepts into production-ready designs. Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 1–2 years’ experience are encouraged to apply.

You will develop technical plans, create and review CAD drawings, and generate CNC data for production while collaborating with Production and other departments to ensure feasibility and quality. HQ in Kuang, Rawang.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Art & Design, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of relevant experience in technical design and product development encouraged.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) with strong knowledge of CAD software (ZW3D, ZWCAD, AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, etc.).
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Willing to work at our HQ Office in Kuang, Rawang.

We're looking for the Executive, R&D (Technical Design). As part of our R&D team, you will play an important role in transforming product concepts into practical and production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop technical plans and designs for customized products based on project requirements.

Create, review, and update technical drawings, specifications, and design plans using relevant CAD software.

Generate CNC data for production and machining processes.

Work closely with Production, and other relevant department to ensure product designs meet technical requirements and specifications.

Review product designs and provide technical input to improve functionality, manufacturability, and accuracy.

Monitor project progress and ensure design and development timelines are achieved.

Support the R&D team in product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:
