Job summary

BPE Synergy Engineering Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a proactive Purchasing Clerk to handle daily purchasing activities for company operations, projects and departments. You will source suppliers, obtain quotations, prepare and issue Purchase Orders after approvals, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.

You will coordinate with internal teams, negotiate favorable terms, maintain records, and resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Able to communicate in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and email.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities for company operations, projects and departments.
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for materials, equipment, spare parts, tools and office supplies.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after obtaining approvals and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments to confirm purchasing requirements and specifications.
• Maintain purchasing records and resolve issues related to delays, incorrect items or discrepancies.
