PEPS-JV (MELAKA) SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist in Melaka to support full procurement cycles, from sourcing to delivery follow-up.

You will evaluate suppliers, handle RFQs, negotiate prices, issue POs, and monitor performance while coordinating with internal teams to meet production needs.

The ideal candidate has a degree in business administration and 2–3 years of procurement experience, with strong negotiation and multitasking skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in any Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of procurement / purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
• Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
• Strong follow-up, problem-solving and sense of urgency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP purchasing systems.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Source and evaluate suppliers for materials and services.
• Handle RFQ, quotation comparison, price negotiation and Purchase Order (PO) issuance.
• Monitor supplier delivery, lead time and outstanding orders.
• Coordinate with internal departments on material and purchasing requirements.
• Follow up urgent and critical items to minimize risk of production disruption.
• Support cost reduction, alternative sourcing and supplier development activities.
• Resolve delivery, pricing, invoice and documentation issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, quality and delivery.
