Job summary

Misarma is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Malaysia to handle end-to-end procurement. You will source suitable suppliers, manage purchase execution, control costs, and ensure procurement aligns with operational and commercial needs.

You will maintain supplier databases, issue POs, negotiate terms, monitor cost trends, and coordinate with operations, QAQC, and logistics to meet project timelines and customer delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or trading environment.
• Mandarin proficiency is a must.
• Good command of English.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally when required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sourcing activities to identify suitable local and overseas suppliers based on technical, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved specifications, pricing, and terms.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery conditions within approved authority limits.
• Track purchase order status, delivery schedules, and shipment progress.
• Coordinate closely with operations, sales, QAQC, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely procurement.
• Coordinate product samples, technical specifications, and compliance documents with suppliers and QAQC.
