Job summary

Excel Rim Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Officer to handle daily purchasing operations, including PR/PO processing, price comparisons, and deliveries. You will source suppliers, negotiate, issue orders, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships and data-driven decision support.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience, with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related purchasing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Process PR, PO, price comparisons, negotiations and follow-up delivery.
• Sourcing activities and vendor performance evaluation.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and explore alternatives.
• Coordinate with vendors for on-time delivery and analyze procurement data.
