Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage our end-to-end purchasing and order fulfilment processes. This role requires strong coordination, analytical, and leadership skills to drive operational efficiency and meet customer delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate Order Fulfilment operations, including supply/demand forecasting, inventory control, and customer order execution.

Handle day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.

Source, evaluate and develop new suppliers.

Request and compare quotations from suppliers.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead time and other commercial terms.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on order status.

Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Maintain good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.

Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements and stock availability.

Monitor purchase prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve team performance.

Develop and implement new systems, best practices, and process improvements to support business growth.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.

Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison and price negotiation.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience in the construction, hardware, building materials or related industry will be an added advantage.

Proficient in SAP system and related procurement tools.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively liaise with multilingual clients, vendors, and suppliers.
