Job summary

Infinite M & E Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring a Junior Executive for Procurement / Project Commercial Controller to support purchasing, inventory and supplier management across construction-related projects.

The role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, 2 years of experience, and proficiency in MS Office. You will handle PR/PO/LOA, monitor orders and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in procurement, ideally project-based or construction.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SQL accounting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and terms.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality and delivery terms.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations for materials and services.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Letter of Award (LOA) and other procurement-related documents.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Coordinate closely with project, engineering and site teams to ensure timely procurement and material delivery.
• Manage and follow up on supplier progress claims, invoices and supporting documents.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and ensure sufficient material availability for project requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to resolve procurement-related issues.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts and procurement documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Procurement or Purchasing, especially within project-based or construction-related environments, is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting System will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
