International Modern Arabic School (KL) is seeking a procurement professional to manage day-to-day operations for both academic and non-academic departments. You will source, compare, and obtain quotations from approved vendors, prepare purchase orders and requisitions, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and budget guidelines.

You will track orders, maintain supplier databases, negotiate pricing, monitor vendor performance, and resolve delivery issues while helping ensure purchases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (supply chain, business, finance) is required or expected.
• 2–5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Excel and procurement/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day procurement requests from academic and non-academic departments.
• Source, compare, and obtain quotations from approved vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and purchase requisitions (PR) and ensure proper approvals.
• Ensure all purchases comply with school procurement policies and budget guidelines.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain and update a database of approved suppliers and vendors.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality service delivery.
• Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, incorrect orders, or service quality concerns.
• Support departments in ensuring purchases remain within approved budgets.
