Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a diligent Procurement Officer to manage contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure all purchases comply with policy. You will track orders, review product quality, and maintain accurate records in internal databases.

The role requires a diploma in business/finance, at least 2 years in purchasing or finance, and strong communication skills to collaborate across departments in a hospital setting in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration / Management / Finance or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Finance.
• Familiarity with supply chain.
• Experience in food and beverages industry will be an extra advantage.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure vendors and supplies comply with contract terms.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Enter order details into internal databases.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in area under care.
• Perform other duties as required by Management.
