Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a logistics and procurement assistant to prepare and maintain purchase orders, receiving documents, delivery records and shipment files, and to coordinate container arrivals with warehouse teams.

You will monitor shipment status, update product master data, support new product setup and system updates, and liaise with suppliers, warehouses, outlets and internal departments on daily operations, while keeping accurate filing and basic Excel reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or related field preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to follow up on multiple tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for China-based suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, receiving documents, delivery records and shipment files.
• Coordinate container arrivals, deliveries and unloading arrangements with warehouse teams.
• Monitor shipment status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Update product master data, including product details, pricing and specifications.
• Support new product setup and system updates.
• Assist with missing items, damaged goods, delivery discrepancies and disposal arrangements.
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, outlets and internal departments on daily operational matters.
• Maintain proper filing and prepare basic Excel reports and tracking records.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
