Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking an administrative staff to support patient admissions and registrations using KCIS system, collect deposits, process guarantee letters, and accompany patients to the ward.

You will adhere to hospital policies, safety and accreditation standards, participate in new services, and help maintain records while contributing to ongoing digital health initiatives like KCIS enhancements and patient safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Register inpatient and outpatients using KCIS system.
  • Collect sufficient deposit from patients upon admission and before proceeds with surgery, if any.
  • Process the guarantee letters.
  • Accompany patient/relative to the respective ward upon admission.
  • To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:-
  • Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced
  • Ensure compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
  • Ensure the policies on Patient and Family’s Rights are addressed at all times.
  • Ensure all Hospital policies and procedures and Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
  • Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards
  • Any appropriate job assigned by Superior

Job description

1. Register inpatient and outpatients using KCIS system.
2. Collect sufficient deposit from patients upon admission and before proceeds with surgery, if any.
3.Process the guarantee letters.
4. Accompany patient/relative to the respective ward upon admission.
5. To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:-

  • To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons;
  • To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty;
  • To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
  • To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
6. Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced
7. Ensure compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
