Job summary

Maxis is seeking a Contract Management & Procurement Governance Intern in Kuala Lumpur to gain hands-on experience in procurement governance, vendor management, spend analysis and contract management within the Enterprise business. You will support spend reviews, forecasting, and the creation of OA contracts, contributing to compliance and efficiency across the organization.

Ideal candidates possess analytical and communication skills, with a degree in business, supply chain, or related fields;

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and data analysis ability for spend data and vendor patterns.
• Clear communication for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support spend analysis by reviewing historical purchase and invoice data across vendors.
• Analyze purchasing data by category, business unit, and trends.
• Consolidate spending information to establish annual spend baselines and vendor profiles.
• Identify procurement categories suitable for OA or framework agreements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and stakeholders for sourcing activities.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails to ensure governance compliance.
