HFC Tech Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive / Senior Executive to manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, and factory supplies for manufacturing operations. You will source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate local and overseas logistics including shipping, freight forwarding, customs, and delivery documentation.

Candidates should have Diplomas/ Degrees in related fields, procurement experience in manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Relevant procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with practical experience in logistics and shipping coordination.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English to liaise with local and overseas suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong negotiation, coordination and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented, with good follow-up skills and accuracy in handling purchase orders and shipping documents.

Responsabilités

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials and factory supplies to support manufacturing operations.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, compare quotations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time and meet required specifications.
• Coordinate local and overseas logistics, including shipping arrangements, freight forwarding, customs clearance and delivery documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, QA and Warehouse teams on material requirements, specifications and delivery priorities.
• Monitor material availability and supplier lead times to minimize shortages and production delays.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies, defective materials and supplier issues, including returns and replacement arrangements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and procurement reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor supplier performance in quality, pricing and delivery.
