KURITA Water Malaysia Sdn Bhd (KWM) is seeking a Procurement Executive / Procurement Junior Executive in Johor to manage strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and purchase orders. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective procurement aligned with ISO standards.

The role emphasizes negotiation, analytical thinking, and strong Excel/SAP capability to optimize purchasing processes and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Formación

• Diploma/Degree in procurement or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and PO management.
• Strong understanding of purchasing and supply‑chain processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP / SBO procurement experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
• ISO 9001 knowledge would be an advantage.

• Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality products and services.
• Order management: Issue purchase orders, track material orders, and coordinate with transporters to ensure timely deliveries.
• Cost optimization: Identify cost reduction opportunities, conduct market validations, and negotiate price adjustments to maximize savings and improve margins.
• Quality assurance: Ensure purchased goods meet engineering specifications and monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.
• Documentation and reporting: Prepare and file relevant documentation, including reports, analyses, contracts, and budgets.
• Process improvement: Participate in ISO initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function.

Job requirements

Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemical or a related field.

Preferably 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.

Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and PO management.

Good understanding of purchasing and supply‑chain processes.

Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Good command of Microsoft Excel and preferably experience with SAP / SBO procurement system.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.

Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of ISO 9001/procurement procedures would be an advantage.

Working hours: 0830 ~ 1730 (lunch time 12:00-13:00)
