Job summary

KHK Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Procurement Executive (Plantation) to manage day-to-day procurement activities, from requisition to delivery, across fertilizers, agrochemicals, PPE, spare parts and general supplies.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related experience will have an added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Agriculture, Plantation Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related experience will have an added advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple purchasing requests and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Willing to learn and develop a career in procurement within the plantation industry.
• Willing to travel to plantation sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities from purchase requisition to purchase order and delivery.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, lead time, and service reliability.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
• Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, supplier documentation, and other procurement records.
• Follow up closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate with plantation sites and internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and ensure specifications are met.
• Support the procurement of plantation-related items such as fertilizers, agrochemicals, agricultural tools, PPE, spare parts, equipment, and general operational supplies
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, pricing details, and purchase documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalation issues relating to quality, pricing, delays, or non-compliance.
• Assist in identifying potential new suppliers and alternative sources to improve cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Work closely with Finance and relevant departments to ensure proper documentation and timely invoice processing.
• Monitor purchasing trends and support cost-saving initiatives and procurement improvements.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, approval limits, and applicable requirements.
